Health Sciences Campus
Cooper University Hospital is currently undergoing the most dramatic physical expansion in thirty years including:
• the addition of a new $220 million patient-care pavilion
• $60 million in upgrades to existing structures including the Kelemen Pavilion, the existing patient care pavilion, and Three Cooper Plaza, our outpatient facility
• A new $33 million parking garage completed September 2007

Pavilion Project
• New 10-story 312,000-square-foot patient care pavilion
• 60 private medical/surgical rooms
• 30 state-of-the-art critical care beds
• 12,000-square-foot addition to the Emergency Department
• State-of-the-art laboratory services located within the new pavilion
• 12 state-of-the-art operating room suites
• Campus re-orientation from Haddon Avenue to Martin Luther King Boulevard with new front entrance and drop-off zone

The Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper
• South Jersey’s only state-designated children’s hospital
• The most comprehensive pediatric program in South Jersey including 18 pediatric specialties

• Regional Perinatal Center – cares for mothers with complicated pregnancies as well as infants born too small, too soon, or with congenital disorders.

Cooper’s Level I Trauma Center

  • Treats nearly 2,500 critically injured patients per year

Cooper’s Neurologic Institute
