Cooper Experts to Answer Calls on Eyewitness News This Thursday

A team of doctors and nurses from Cooper University Hospital will travel to the CBS3 studios in Philadelphia on Thursday, October 1, to participate in a live H1N1 Phone Bank during Eyewitness News (4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).

During the broadcast, viewers will be invited to call or email their questions and/or concerns about H1N1.  The team expects a range of questions, including symptoms and treatments of H1N1, who’s at risk and who should receive the vaccine, and what to do if you or a family member becomes ill. 

All of the professionals participating are also members of a large committee at Cooper that is actively planning and preparing for H1N1. They include*:

• Ryan Miller, R.N. (Special Operations Director for the Division of EMS and Disaster Medicine)

• Donna O’Shea, R.N. (Clinical Nurse Educator)
• Rosalie Pepe, M.D. (Department of Infectious Diseases Physician)
• Carole-Rae Reed, R.N., Ph.D. (Nursing Research Coordinator)
• June Treston, M.S.N., C.R.N.P. (Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner)
