Baylor Program

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THE BAYLOR PROGRAM.
AT THIS TIME, THERE ARE NO POSITIONS AVAILABLE.

Each Baylor Staff Nurse will be assigned to a shepherd manager within a specific division as a primary contact person. The division managers will collaboratively provide support for completing an orientation schedule, providing annual evaluations, assigning time off and scheduling assignments.

Each Baylor Staff Nurse will complete hospital/nursing orientation. During hospital/nursing orientation, the Baylor Staff Nurse must contact their shepherd manager to establish a unit based orientation schedule.

Baylor Staff Nurses are hired into a division. One must be competent in at least three clinical areas within the division.

Baylor Staff Nurses hired into the Medical Surgical Division are required to work in all units throughout the Med Surg Divisions managing an assignment based on clinical capabilities. Every Baylor Staff Nurse will be oriented to each unit in their clinical areas of competence for one day with a preceptor. Upon completion of the orientation the orientation documentation will be submitted to the shepherd manager.
