Documenting to Protect Yourself
Summary:Documentation, in and of itself, in one quarter of the cases, can determine the success or failure of a lawsuit.
Description:
Documentation, in and of itself, in one quarter of the cases, can determine the success or failure of a lawsuit.  Is the saying, “if you didn’t document it, you didn’t do it” accurate?  In a lawsuit, the medical record can be your best friend or your worst enemy.  The who, what, when, where and whys of documentation for legal and regulatory purposes, case studies with group discussions, and strategies to protect yourself in your practice will be covered in this program.
