Dr. Cardonick is a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist with a unique interest in women diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy, or cancer survivors having a pregnancy after cancer treatment. Dr. Cardonick has developed a registry of women diagnosed with cancer before or during pregnancy and has followed the health of not only the mother long term, but also the infant who may have been exposed to cancer treatment while developing in utero.

She has become the medical advisor for the Cancer in Pregnancy support group, an association supported by the American Cancer Society. Dr. Cardonick has lectured on the topic of cancer and pregnancy throughout the country. She can follow the outcomes of such pregnancies, not only on women living regional to the Cooper Health System, but has followed the pregnancies of women with cancer from all over the world.

In addition to this interest, Dr. Cardonick cares for women during pregnancy with various medical problems, and performs fetal ultrasound and amniocentesis as well.
