Dr. Richard L. Fischer is a Board Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist who has been at Cooper University Hospital since 1989. He provides high and low-risk pregnant women with skilled and compassionate care of both themselves and their unborn babies. He has been named a “Top Doc” by Philadelphia Magazine, New Jersey Monthly Magazine, and SJ Magazine. He has won numerous teaching awards, and has lectured extensively in the region and beyond on high-risk pregnancy conditions. He is active in clinical research, and has published over 35 original articles, case reports, and chapters on pregnancy complications. Through his research, lecturing, reading, and attending meetings, he remains current with the latest obstetrical advances.
