David Clements, MD graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 1982 and completed his residency training at Temple in 1988, which included time at the Shriners Hospital for Children. His Fellowship training in spine surgery was completed in 1989 at The Hospital for Special Surgery of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York.
Most recently Dr. Clements was Associate Professor for the Departments of Surgery and Neurosurgery at Temple University School of Medicine and is a member of the medical staff at Temple University Hospital, Shriners Hospital of Children and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
Dr. Clements is active in teaching as the Co-Director of the Spinal Surgery Fellowship at Temple. He has also lectured extensively and authored nearly thirty articles, chapters and books. He is a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery as well as state and local societies.
