Dr. Mahamitra joined Cooper Family Medicine in August 2007. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Temple University School of Law, and St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Mahamitra completed his residency training with Drexel University College of Medicine.
Dr. Mahamitra has published numerous articles in national medical journals and has also presented original research topics at national conferences. He has been nominated for the Golden Stethoscope Award and has been presented with the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Teacher Award in recognition of his ability and commitment to family medicine.
