Neonatology
The specialized staff of neonatologists at The Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper treats more than 400 term and premature infants each year with medical and surgical problems related to prematurity, respiratory, metabolic or birth disorders. To ensure the highest quality of care, our neonatologists are available in the hospital 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In conjunction with our other medical and surgical specialists, we have the capabilities to care for the region's tiniest and/or most critically ill newborns. Neonatal transport is available to bring infants born anywhere in the region to our facility.
