When being admitted to the hospital, it is recommended that you only bring essential personal items with you such as:
- Insurance Card
- Photo ID
- Pajamas or a Nightgown
- Robe
- Slippers
- Eyeglasses
- Dentures
- Hearing Aid
- Toiletries
Please do not bring any valuables to the hospital such as jewelry, credit cards or large amounts of money. If you have brought valuables with you, please ask to have them kept in the hospital's safe or sent home with your family.
Your physician will order any medications you require from the hospital pharmacy. Therefore, you should leave at home any medications you are presently taking (including aspirin and antihistamines). Be sure to bring a list of your current medications.
Because of the complex electronic equipment used in the hospital, personal electric appliances (including electric rollers and hair dryers) may not be operating within the hospital. Only Battery Operated Appliances are permitted.
