Breast Surgery & Comprehensive Breast Care

The Comprehensive Breast Care Center at Cooper is staffed by health care professionals who specialize in the detection, evaluation and treatment of all breast diseases.

• Detection of breast disease may include one or more of the following: breast self exam, breast examination in the doctor's office, mammogram, or ultrasound.

• Evaluation of any abnormalities found in your breast during the detection phase may include a breast biopsy (watch animated video) or a mammotome.

• Treatment of breast disease may include breast surgery, e.g. lumpectomy (watch animated video) or mastectomy, radiation therapy or chemotherapy.

Because we are committed to treating each individual as a whole person, we also offer psychiatry services, nutritional counseling, social services, and nursing services to provide support, education and assistance to you and your family.
