Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Summary:The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course presents the skills and didactic information needed to handle a cardiac arrest, and events that follow a cardiac arrest.
Description:

The core of this two-day course is the evaluation and management of the first 10 minutes of an adult, ventricular fibrillation cardiac arrest. The ACLS course is designed to give healthcare providers the basic knowledge to care for the patient incardiac arrest and to manage acute coronary syndromes and stroke.The intended audience for chis course includes: emergency, intensive care, or critical care personnel; emergency medical providers such as physicians, nurses, EMS , paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

Prerequisites: Participants must possess a current Basic Life Support/CPR for Healthcare Providers card.

Fees: Certification is $250.00 for non-Cooper Staff and Recertification is $175.00 for non-Cooper Staff

Course Materials: Pre-course information and the mandatory pre-test will be sent to you upon receipt of your completed registration form. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE THE ABOVE INFORMATION TWO WEEKS AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR REGISTRATION FORM. PLEASE CONTACT THE LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING CENTER AT (856) 342-2009. It is suggested that all participants read the ACLS Provider Manual. The manual is included for paying participants. Also available to help you prepare for this course is an Emergency Cardiovascular Care handbook available through the Life Support Training Center for an additional $14.00.

Refund Policy: For Cooper Employees, a non-refundable cancellation fee of $75.00 will be charged to Cooper employees who cancel less than two weeks prior to the date of the course. A "no-show" fee of $125.00 will be charged to Cooper employees who do not show for the course.

Non-Cooper Employees: Cancellation for all ACLS courses must take place 2 weeks prior to the date of the course for a full tuition refund. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF THE COURSE DATE.
