Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics

The Child Development Center at The Children's Regional Hospital is a major referral center for comprehensive diagnostic assessments of infants, toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents.

Children are individually evaluated for developmental delays, learning disabilities, cognitive levels, speech and language disorders, emotional and behavioral difficulties, and gross and fine motor deficits.

From this evaluation, the staff will recommend an individualized treatment plan appropriate for the child.

Costs of evaluation and therapy may be covered by private health care insurance plans and Medicaid. A sliding fee scale is also available for those who qualify.
