You love fried chicken, but not the fat and calories. Try this quick and easy low-fat, low-calorie version which yields four servings.
Ingredients:

2 slices whole wheat bread, processed in blender to make bread crumbs

½ teaspoon marjoram
-
½ teaspoon paprika
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan or soy parmesan cheese
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
-
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, each cut into 5 strips

½ cup buttermilk
Cooking directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix bread crumbs with marjoram, paprika, Parmesan, pepper and garlic powder. Dip chicken strips in buttermilk. Roll in breadcrumb mixture.

Place on wire rack, set on baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
