This year, we’ve again teamed up with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. to bring you the local doctors other doctors say they’d choose to tend to their family members. We’ve included a glossary of the American Board of Medical Specialties categories we use and a thorough explanation of just how Castle Connolly compiles its Top Doctors list.
Each year, Castle Connolly sends out tens of thousands of invitation letters to physicians in private practice—randomly selected—as well as to the medical leadership of major medical centers, specialty hospitals, teaching hospitals and regional medical centers... The process asks not only for doctors who excel in academic medicine and research, but also for those with outstanding interpersonal skills."

This year, 32 Cooper University Physicians and 14 Cooper Medical Staff doctors made the list, an increase of 18 doctors from 2009!
