The NRP course is designed to give the healthcare provider the basic knowledge-to care for the neonatal patient in cardlac arrest and to manage resuscitation efforts in conditions that may lead to arrest. This course will provide the skills necessary to resuscitate a newborn and to work smoothly as a team with other healthcare professionals. The intended audience for this course includes pediatricians, emergency physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals who may be involved in the first critical moments of a newborn infant's life.
Prerequisites: Current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Suppoa / CPR Healthcare Provider level. Copy of BLS Card must be attached with registration form in order to complete registration.
Cost: $225 (Cooper employees who register for NRP with an expired card will be charged $100.00 via payroll deduction.)
Course Materials: Precourse information will be sent to you upon receipt of your completed registration form. If vou do not receive the above information two weeks after submitting your registration form, please contact the Life Support Training Center at (856) 342-2009. It is suggested that all participants read the NRP Provider Manual. The manual is included for paylng participants. Also available to help you prepare for this course is an Emergency Cardiovascular Care handbook (ECC) avadable through the Life Support Training Center for an additional $14.00.
Refund Policy: A non-refundable cancellation fee of $50.00 will be charged to Cooper employees who cancel less than two weeks prior to the date of the course. A "no-show" fee of $100.00 will be charged to employees who do not show for the course. No refunds for cancellations within two weeks of the course date.
