APP Fellowship
A structured, hands-on experience that empowers nurse practitioners and physician assistants to grow into confident, highly-skilled providers.
Program Overview
At Cooper University Health Care, our Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship offers a rigorous, immersive training experience designed to accelerate clinical readiness and build confident, practice‑ready clinicians. Rooted in Cooper’s commitment to exceptional patient care, interprofessional collaboration, and continuous learning, the fellowship provides newly graduated or early‑career APPs with the structured support they need to thrive in complex clinical environments.
Fellows gain hands‑on experience, dedicated mentorship, and protected didactic learning while working alongside nationally recognized physicians, APPs, and care teams. Through a blend of clinical rotations, simulation training, and specialty‑specific education, participants develop advanced assessment skills, clinical judgment, and professional leadership.
Our fellowship currently offers two specialized tracks, Hospital Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, each tailored to prepare APPs for high‑impact roles within their chosen field.
