Diane Juliano, DNP, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, is the Chief Nursing Officer at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional. In this role, Dr. Juliano provides leadership over nursing and patient care services operations, advancing professional nursing practice and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care, as well as fostering a healthy work environment for our team members.
Dr. Juliano is a seasoned nursing executive with nearly 30 years of experience dedicated to advancing patient safety, clinical quality, employee engagement, and overall patient experience. She has successfully led high‑performing teams across academic medical centers and community hospitals, spanning surgical services, intensive care units, medical-surgical units, and hospital operations. Her leadership includes roles as Director of Patient and Family Centered Care, Director of Clinical Excellence, and adjunct nursing faculty, reflecting her commitment to developing both people and systems. Dr. Juliano has also been instrumental in achieving Magnet designation at two separate organizations.
Dr. Juliano earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from La Salle University, MBA degree from Wilmington University, and BSN from Stockton University. She holds advanced certification as a Nurse Executive (NEA-BC) and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). She is also a graduate of the Wharton Executive Education Program and a 2022 fellow of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) Nurse Executive Fellowship. Her academic and professional achievements have earned her numerous recognitions for excellence and leadership, and she has presented both locally and nationally.
Dr. Juliano is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives where she volunteers to teach review course content, the American Nurses Association, AONL and the Organization of Nurse Leaders—New Jersey, where she serves as a board member. Dr. Juliano is Six Sigma trained and widely respected for her strategic leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to elevating nursing practice. She has also been actively involved with the American Heart Association Go Red campaign since 2022, serving as the 2025 event chair. Additionally, she serves on the Dean’s Leadership Circle for Rutgers Camden. Dr. Juliano currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer for Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional.
