Dr. Wang completed his gastroenterology training at the Mayo Clinic and is a strong believer that “the needs of the patient come first.” Dr. Wang has worked at Cooper since 2012 and practices general gastroenterology and hepatology, with a subspecialty focus on Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Wang enjoys getting to know his patients well as a person and taking care of all aspects of their digestive health. 

Dr. Wang is an associate professor of medicine and a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the nation’s oldest and most prestigious medical society dedicated to disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. AGA fellowship honors superior professional achievement in clinical practice and in basic or clinical research. 

Outside of work, Dr. Wang enjoys swimming, hiking, reading biographies, and traveling around the world.
