About Me

Rahul Garg, MD, DABR, is an Attending Neuroradiologist at Cooper University Health Care (CUHC) and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU). He is double board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology. 

Dr. Garg received his medical degree in 2012 from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri. He completed his intern year in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA; a diagnostic radiology residency at Rutgers University- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ, where he was also elected Chief Resident; and a neuroradiology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. 

Dr. Garg’s special interests in the subspecialty of neuroradiology include advanced neuroimaging techniques such as MRI and CT perfusion, diffusion tensor imaging, and MRI spectroscopy, brain tumor imaging, stroke imaging, and spine imaging. At CMSRU, he maintains active roles on various medical school committees, and at both CMSRU and CUHC, he is a strong proponent of medical student and resident education.
