About Me

Dr. Kaufman’s endocrinology practice focuses on the management of Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes. He has particular interest in insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring. Dr. Kaufman emphasizes team-based care and works closely with the Endocrinology Division’s diabetes educators to develop individual care plans that promote diabetes self-management  As the Medical Director of Cooper’s Urban Health Institute, Dr. Kaufman works on innovative models of health care delivery such as shared medical appointments, which are available at the Cherry Hill and Camden locations.

DrKaufman and his staff are just the best!!! We have group diabetic meetings where he makes time for everyone and we share. If you need a private talk they'll make time and place for that
