Children with special needs often require a team of special doctors. At the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper, the unique needs of children with physical disabilities are assessed, diagnosed, and treated by physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, Dr. Thomas Drake.

A leader in the rehabilitation field, Dr. Drake is focused on helping you to help your child to maximize their unique potential. Children with physical disabilities often require a specialized team, which can be overwhelming for busy families. This often involves physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, orthopedics, neurology, and other specialists. It was a pleasure taking my son to see Dr. Drake. He was very professional, highly intelligent and explained everything in a way my son and I could both understood.
