Please call your surgeon’s office immediately if you experience any of the following:

  • Severe or worsening pain
  • Nausea, vomiting or persistent diarrhea
  • Increased pain, redness or drainage (pus) from your incision site
  • Fever of 101 degrees or higher

Going Home With Your Child

Pediatric surgery is done at the Cooper Surgery Center at Voorhees, where we are committed to keeping our patients healthy and safe. We strongly support the New Jersey Child Passenger Safety Laws that require children under 8 years of age, and those who weigh less than 80 pounds, to ride properly secured in a child safety seat or in a booster seat in the rear seat of the vehicle. Children under age 8 who weigh more than 80 pounds must ride secured by a seat belt in the back seat. Children over age 8 must be secured in a properly adjusted seat belt.
