The nurse that brought me back to exam room was kind when asking if I wanted a blanket because she could tell I was cold.

This was my first visit with Dr. Carter. I had a biopsy done at Cooper in January and it showed I had a mass in my right breast, a papilloma, and the radiologist said to see a breast surgeon. My daughter accompanied me to the visit because she wanted to know what the surgery would entail. Dr. Carter explained everything thoroughly and I decided to have another biopsy in 6 months to see if there are any changes.

I was looking forward to this annual follow-up visit with Dr. Carter, she's an amazing surgeon dedicated to ensuring the mental and physical comfort of her patients. I don't think I could have gotten through my diagnosis, surgery, radiation without Ms. Carter's calm nature and support.
