The Center offers judgement-free and evidence-based care to people with substance use disorders while pregnant or parenting. Through its Empowering Mothers to Parent and Overcome With Resilience (EMPOWR) program, the Center for Healing provides soon-to-be or new birthing parents with compassionate care for use disorders and offers patient navigation and wraparound services.
EMPOWR operates on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 808 Market Street, 2nd Floor, Camden, NJ 08103. Emergency care is always available through the emergency department.

Physical Health Services
- Collegial group visits with one-on-one medical care
- Coordination of inpatient medical stabilization.
- Evidence based outpatient addiction medicine care including MAT
- Nutritional support (healthy meals at group visits, fresh produce)
- On-demand access to primary, prenatal, and pediatric care
Mental Health Services
- Creative wellness
- Group and individual therapy with expertise in trauma recovery
- Peer support
- Psychiatric evaluation and management
Social Support
- Assistance for those without health insurance
- Emergency housing resources (when available)
- Legal services
- On site child enrichment during group meetings (when available)
- Resource support for needed infant/baby items
- Scheduling and transportation assistance
