Patient Care Services (PCS) Orientation
PCS Orientation will take place on the Tuesday of your scheduled orientation week. This orientation is in addition to the New Employee Orientation which you will complete on Monday. PCS Orientation will last from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PCS Orientation will take place at 101 Haddon Avenue, Suite 502, Nursing Education. This is the brick building directly across the street from the main entrance to the hospital.

Additional Requirements for Employment
Offer of employment is contingent upon your passing a pre-placement medical examination, including a drug/alcohol screening, background check and receipt of references satisfactory to Cooper University Health Care. You will also be required to comply with the Cooper University Health Care Influenza policy which requires proof of yearly vaccination or declination. If you have already received your vaccination this year, please bring documentation with you to your scheduled physical.
New Employee Orientation
At orientation, you’ll learn how we live Cooper’s mission, vision, and values, along with critical information on our safety policies, legal and ethical obligations, and key Human Resource policies, such as attendance, leave, and standards of conduct. We’ll review our benefits programs, enrollment deadlines, and effective dates so that you can choose the plans that best meet your needs.
