Genes are pieces of information that are present in most of our body’s cells and are instructions for how the cell works. A pathogenic variant (mutation) is a change in a gene that causes it to stop working properly.

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) breast cancer risk assessment tool (also known as the “Gail model”) uses personal risk factors to help estimate a woman’s risk of developing breast cancer. Each woman’s risk of developing breast cancer is different.

Cooper offers optional onsite parking for a nominal fee to team members who will work in Camden. A parking application is required and may be submitted on your first day on campus when you visit the Conference Center.
